Challenge
Creating a clear and user-friendly application was priority number one. Within this application a user needs to be able to create, send and track invoices. The invoices are sent automatically, an email is sent with a payment link. Once paid, a notification is sent and the system is updated.
Approach
By creating a clean and easy to use step-by-step process, the user can easily create an invoice, whereby the VAT is automatically calculated. Using the corporate identity specifically made for Krakend, this application fits in with their others perfectly.
Final words
The application has been in use for a couple of years and the users have been positive. The application has been tweaked to their liking over time, which makes it an ever evolving project, getting bigger and better.
What I accomplished
A completely functional and easy to use application. In which users are able to create, send and track invoices.
In the following months a revenue monitoring system was added, allowing the users to quickly keep track of the revenue stream.
