    Challenge
WaddenHulp needed a design that would cater specifically to elderly users, many of whom face challenges with modern technology. The goal was to create an intuitive and user-friendly interface, avoiding overwhelming elements while still maintaining a polished, professional look. The design had to communicate simplicity and approachability, making it easy for seniors to seek the help they needed.

    Approach
I focused on creating a clean, minimalistic design, with large, easy-to-read typography and a clear navigation structure. By stripping away any unnecessary complexities, I ensured that the core functionality remained at the forefront. Every design choice, from button placement to color scheme, was guided by the needs of the elderly audience. The goal was to create a calm, accessible environment where users could interact with technology without frustration.

    Final words
The feedback has been extremely positive, with many users praising the simplicity and ease of use. Working on WaddenHulp allowed me to explore the balance between functional and accessible design, and I’m proud of the outcome. Collaborating with developer Chris Dekker, we delivered a platform that not only serves a purpose but does so in a way that puts the user’s experience first.
